Delegates are trained in the theory of when AED use is needed and why shocks are given. There will be extended practical sessions to familiarise students with AED use and integrating it during Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

This is an extended component that is also included in the FPOS Intermediate courses and can be run as a standalone half day course.
